Hindu Shakti — TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MISSION STATEMENT: Hindu Shakti is a Hindu organization committed to providing a platform where single unattached Hindu adults may meet one another for meaningful relationships and potential matrimony.
GOALS: Hindu Shakti will provide a forum for single Hindu men and women in the US to meet one another in a structured social environment for potential matrimony. These conditions are applicable to virtual meetings as well.
Hindu Shakti will also accept applications from unattached single Hindu men and women and create a database that will store each applicant’s personal information. A participant’s private information will only be released to another person if both parties agree in writing that they would like the party requesting the information to have the personal information of the other party.
RULES AND REQUIREMENTS: Each participant must be followers of the Hindu faith. Each applicant must be at least 18 years of age at the time of registering with this organization to participate in activities. Each applicant agrees to provide true and correct background information as to their identities, religious faith. marital status, and criminal history. Each applicant/participant must be single and unattached. All participants at our functions agree to act in a proper manner and be courteous and respectful to all persons. Each applicant/participant takes sole and complete responsibility for all actions that might occur during any meeting, communication, or function. Each participant agrees to abide by all rules and requirements when applying for an event hosted by Hindu Shakti and when attending a function hosted by Hindu Shakti. NO PERSONS WITH CRIMINAL HISTORIES INVOLVING CRIMES AGAINST PERSONS OR PROPERTY are welcome and nor may they participate in any function hosted by this organization. NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE PERMITTED AT OR IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO ENTERING A FUNCTION PROMOTED BY Hindu Shakti. NO PERSON MAY PARTICIPATE IN A HINDU Shakti FUNCTION or virtual event WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR ANY ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE.
Each applicant understands and agrees that Hindu Shakti reserves the right to refuse entry into any function hosted by Hindu Shakti and the right to refuse its services to any person for any reason. Each applicant/participant also acknowledges and agrees that Hindu Shakti reserves the right to remove any participant from any function hosted by Hindu Shakti for a violation of the rules and regulations.
NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS: Hindu Shakti does not conduct any background checks or investigations on Applicants and Participants for these functions. Each Applicant/Participant understands and acknowledges that they are fully and solely responsible to do their own due diligence and background checks with regard to each person they meet at one of these functions. Each participant is expected to take all reasonable and proper precautions in interactions with other matched participants they decide to meet or interact with.
To protect the safety and privacy of all participants, Hindu Shakti requests that all participants at their events not give out their personal information to persons they meet at these events, and allows Hindu Shakti to disseminate contact information upon the mutual selection and agreement by both parties.
WAIVERS AND INDEMNIFICATION: Each Applicant and participant acknowledges the purposes of this organization is to promote Hindu relationships potentially leading to matrimony, and further expressly agrees and consents to being photographed and video graphed at functions promoted by Hindu Shakti. Each participant expressly agrees that the photographs and or videos of the participants may be used by Hindu Shakti in our promotional material and on Hindu Shakti websites. Participants further agree to allow their likeness and their personal stories to be used by and published to the public by Hindu Shakti without any compensation, ever, to a participant. Each Participant expressly waives a claim of invasion of privacy or appropriation of one’s likeness.
Each participant/applicant further expressly waives, releases, and agrees to indemnify Hindu Shakti, – its officers, directors, shareholders, consultants, Event Coordinators (as defined within HinduShakti.org Web site), agents, employees, volunteers, partners, affiliates, licensees and subsidiaries from any and all losses, claims, damages, expenses (including reasonable fees, disbursements, and other charges of Counsel), actions, proceedings, liabilities or investigations (whether formal or informal), or threats thereof, based upon, relating to, or arising in connection with a participant’s attendance at any of Hindu Shakti’s past, present, or future functions or events, any and all of the services that Hindu Shakti, – provides or claims to provide, as well as communications or meetings that an participant arranges on the participant’s own volition and on the participant’s own time with others who have participated in a Hindu Shakti event.
AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY Hindu Shakti RULES AND REGULATIONS:
By availing the services of Hindu Shakti, each Applicant acknowledges that they have read this Statement of Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by all rules and regulations and to allow their likeness to be used in promotional activities (without compensation) to promote the opportunity for single unattached Hindu persons to meet other persons of the Hindu religion which may potentially lead to matrimony
